Fault phenomenon: A 2007 Polo 1.4 automatic transmission sedan equipped with BMG engine and 09G six-speed automatic manual transmission with a mileage of 90,641km. The owner of the vehicle turned to the auxiliary system for alarm and turned to heavy pit stop for maintenance.

Fault diagnosis: After the maintenance personnel pick up the car, perform the basic check. The steering auxiliary vvdi2 v5.6.0 system warning light K92 on the instrument is always lit in the form of yellow light. Start the engine and try to turn the steering wheel and feel that the system is not working. When communicating with the customer, it was learned that the fault occurred in the evening, and after the cold start the next morning, the K92 was extinguished, the steering assisted recovery, and the fault reappeared after driving to the repair station.

Connect the VAS6150B troubleshooter and try to enter the steering assist control unit J500. The screen indicates that the above system does not exist. Access engine control unit J220, the fault information obtained by querying the memory is: 01309 049, the power steering control unit J500 has no communication, static.

In the data bus control unit J533 fault memory, the memory associated with the current fault is 01309 049. The power steering lonsdor k518ise control unit J500 has no communication, static, and is the same as the fault code in J220. Read the J533 measured value 126 sets of 4 areas of data: steering assist 0.

The J823 data bus control unit J533 is integrated in the vehicle network control unit J519. The power system CAN data bus and the comfort system CAN data bus meet here. The users of the power CAN data bus have engine, automatic transmission, ABS system, instrument, safety. The airbag and the steering assist system, wherein the diagnostic instrument performs self-diagnosis data exchange between the ABS control unit J104, the airbag control unit J234 and the steering assist system J500 through the CAN data bus without cardiagtool passing through the K line, as shown in FIG. Through the scanner to scan the various systems on the car, the diagnostic instrument can access J104, J234 and J285, and these control units memorize the fault code of 01309, which indicates that other control on the power CAN data bus except the J500 loses communication. The unit is working properly.

Troubleshooting: Replace S177, K92 is turned off after the ignition switch is turned on, and the diagnostic instrument can enter. Switch back to the original electronic hydraulic pump, delete the fault code of all control unit memory, and troubleshoot.

Summary of faults: The phenomenon that the fuse SI77 seems to be broken and unbroken has caused the diagnosis to detour, the lessons are profound, and the fault description of the customer is connected, and there are intermittent factors. The location of the S177 is straightforward. If you carefully check the status of the fuse during the diagnosis, the error will not occur.
